Other companies slowly learned that this sort of blocking serves absolutely no purpose (X-Com, The Elder Scrolls series and Binding of Isaac, are a few games that come to mind), it mannages to prevent players that are actually playing the game, but modded, from getting achievements, but does nothing to prevent players who want to get achievements in an easy way (cheating) from getting them. If someone really wants to get the achievements easily they already can, there are several ways available, cheat engine being the easiest of them. ![]() Since the kickstarter it has been claimed that this game would be mod friendly, that alone should be enough reason to allow achievements on a modded game. Frankly it shouldn't even be limited to "certain mods". ![]()
